One stamp delivers a 1 oz letter anywhere in the US. Depends on the weight. Postage is determined by weight and requests on delivery speed or confirmation.

No one stamp will work all over the US. Unless it is heavy then you need to go to the post office and weigh it.

If it is light enough a regular 1st class stamp will deliver the letter to anyplace in the U.S. you only need two stamps if the letter is heavy.
