Are you talking of Georgia in the U.S. or in Russia?

I live in GA. I own my own house, I own a nice car. The average house or condo goes for about 150K-200K...and thats in a surburban neighborhood and pretty decent. Thats like a 1.5K mortgage per month unless you pay a huge down payment. Got bills and utility...I would say you need to make about $3,000 a month just to live comfortably here.

Its cheap! Areas in the North and West Coast are very high. If you buy a 2 million dollar home, it would be way bigger here than California.

I was born in Burbank, CA and lived there until I was a young teenager. Most of my family is there, and 6mo I tried to move back to CA. I could not believe the differences in prices for EVERYTHING. ATL is relatively cheap. You can buy a house in the burbs easily for about 150k. It is a great place to live if you earn about average wages because you can have nice things for alot cheaper than you can most anywhere else. Apt rent averages about $550-$900. Its a nice place 2 be

That is going to depend on where you live. Compared to most major cities, Atlanta is cheaper. However, if you aren't going to live the in the metro area, then it gets even cheaper. Places like Rome, Ga, Douglasville, Ga. and Dallas Ga. have pretty low costs of living. You can buy a nice home there for 100-120k. If you move to to the East Cobb area, some homes go into the 500k area and some are in the 150k area. East Cobb is in Marietta. Alpharetta has million dollar homes and then has 200k homes. Midtown and Buckhead can get pricey as well, so if you have a budget, I would suggest sticking to the suburbs. Anyways, it all boils down to where you want to live in Ga, but Ga seems to be a cheaper state than most.

It depends where you are talking about. Atlanta and Savannah can get quite expensive in the good areas. The rest of Georgia isn't too expensive, much cheaper than our Floridian neighbors. You can get a really good house for about 150K in an average town, but there are also good homes that are cheaper. Georgia is a great place to live!
