I live in Georgia and I am looking for a pet snake. What snakes are legal to own?
I know corn snakes are illegal to own as pets in georgia.

well non venomous and non constrictors are always legal but you need to check with the city to see if it is legal to own a boa constrictor or a python and venomous snakes need a permit but sometimes the city rules over power the permit so that is not a good thing

Snakes as Pets: I assume the following means these are Legal-- In the Western world some snakes, especially docile species like the Ball Python and Corn Snake, are kept as pets-To supply this demand a 'captive breeding' industry has developed-Snakes bred in captivity tend to make better pets and are considered preferable to wild caught specimens- Hope this helps--MaryR

These things vary state by state, your best bet would be to contact Georgia's Deptartment of Natural Resources or Fish and Wildlife or whatever you guys call it up there and ask them, not everyone keeps up on what's legal or not in their own state, so how can they really help you?

What are the best cities to live in Georgia and Florida?
Yes, my husband and I have been both to Florida many times. Where interested in moving to Florida or Georgia. But, we would like to know the best cities. Whether it is GA or FL we are planning on buying a home? So, we are looking for safe neighborhoods, low taxes and good property value. We are a young couple in our mid twenties.

Watkinsville is a great city in Georgia to live in...I love it....Oconee County is wonderful place to raise a family...very quiet, yet close to Athens, a great college town that has anything you could possibly need.

Well, you probably need to find which branch of Georgia's government is responsible for certifying nonprofit organizations, possibly the Georgie Department of State. As well, you'll probably need to visit the IRS website, as the federal standards and requirements for establishing a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization are to be found there. There are a number of books that you should be able to take out of your library on the steps to incorporate a non-profit, though consulting with an attorney is the best option, obviously.
