Your question doesn't make any sense!!!!!!!!!
2 :
I would say it is too early to know about tomorrow yet. Check the school website and your local news for updates.

If you want to be informed, watch the TV news.

I live in Georgia. I want to purchase a car but can not afford my own car insurance. Can my grandma insure me

I live in Georgia. I want to purchase a car but can not afford my own car insurance. Can my grandma insure me?
If the car is in my name can the insurance legally be in her name? My current car which is payed for is titled in my name but insured in my grandmothers name so would that be possible if there is a a lein holder? To those of you who feel the need to be rude, let me let you in on WHY I can not afford the insurance in my own name at this time. I am a FULL TIME student, and a single mother of 5 children. I am 26 years old! Not a teenager. I am putting MYSELF through nursing school AND working, AND saving for my children. It cost me alot less to have my car on my grandmothers insurance at this point. As for keeping the car I have currently, Its a 1987 mini van that is broken down and will cost well over what it is worth to fix it. I need another! Thanks.

Could your grandma, just give you the money for the insurance? That may prevent some confusion if there were an accident. Insurance companies are always looking for some reason to not pay off a claim.
2 :
to be "legal" you need to be listed as a driver!
3 :
LETS SEE HEAR YOU SAY YOUR CAR IS PAID FOR KEEP THE CAR YOU ARE KNOW DRIVING AND PAY FOR YOUR OWN INSURANCE GROW UP AND PAY.
4 :
If you can't afford all the costs of driving a vehicle, I'd suggest you wait until you can.
5 :
It could happen! The insurance would be under your grandma's name, list your vehicle and you as a driver. Some companies might do that. Otherwise, find other transportation. Walk, bike, bus, etc which will cut down a lot of auto expenses...
6 :
The primary named insured on the policy must be a titled owner of the vehicle. If grandma is a co-owner of the vehicle and is listed on the title, then the insurance can be in her name with you as a co-named insured or a listed driver. If the title is solely in your name, than you must be the primary named insured under the policy.
7 :
It depends on your state. Some states require that the title or loan holder be on the insurance as well. They can add other drivers. I live in a state where this is not an issue so ask around. Some insurance companies won't do it regardless of the state. I know Esurance and Progressive don't care as long as the state does not prohibit this. If your state does not allow it then you might have to have your grandmother co-register for the car with you in order to allow her to insure it. That being said, I'd strongly recommend both of you be on the insurance policy, one as primary, the other secondary. You might also find that it's cheaper just to insure you rather than the both of you. Insurance is pricey but do shop around. I switched to esurance and now save over 600 a year with more coverage. My best friend switched her insurance. Another person I know switched to Allstate and is saving a bundle. You might be able to find something affordable. I just want to add that I know in CA they had some kind of program of state sponsored low cost car insurance for those under a certain income bracket. I remember checking it out a few years ago but I couldn't qualify. See if your state offers something similar. I just want to add (totally off-subject) but since it's tax season, you might be able to get money from taxes to help w/ the car. You'd qualify for an education tax credit (which can be alot) and it sounds like maybe the EIC credit which for you might be between 2000-4000 regardless of what you owed or don't owe.

I have a question for people who live in Georgia

I have a question for people who live in Georgia?
Is it true that in the state of Georgia they put their animals who are in shelters in gas chambers? I heard if the animals don't get adopted out soon they are put in a gas chamber and killed. If this is going on I think it is absolutely sick!! Not that it is the people fault but maybe people should try to work together in the state to get this stopped.

Looks like its been outlawed this year though.

This happens in more places than GA. I've lived and worked at shelters in GA, KS, MO, and IL and it has happened at all three. Even at places supposedly no-kill. Last place I worked at was in KC, MO and supposedly no kill. 3 month old Beagle pup contacted Parvo, was quarantined until recovered, (which was supposedly rare, Parvo is usually fatal) and I was told the next day we would be putting him down. I was showed the gas chamber where he would be put too sleep and the incinerator next to it. I asked why we would nurse him back to health just to kill him and was told it was illegal to kill him while sick, but legal to do afterwards because he was now healthy. I quit animal care that day.

yeah unfortunatly it is...and it is not humane....i think that is why there are so many people now who just rescue and foster animals until homes are found, and that requires alot of home checks, they are spayed/nutered, shots, heartworm stuff, de wormed, and alot of paperwork, we adopted one and it was 200.00 to adopt him, but he is healthy, and beautiful...thank god for the animal rescuers...mannnnny more are always needed....
4 :
Abandoned animals are put down in shelter all over the USA. The methods they use isn't really the issue. There is an overpopulation of animals and if they can't be adopted or given a home in a rescue shelter they are put to sleep. This is common everywhere not just in Atlanta.

What's the difference if it's gas or the blue juice? Either way it's sad, but it's better than having the abandoned and unwanted animals abused by bad owners, left to fend for themselves on the streets, or spending a miserable life in a poorly maintained kennel, and kennels and food cost money. When I worked as a vet tech, all of the vets in Georgia that I knew of used the "blue juice" (Euthatal, Sodium Pentobarbital) to euthanize old or seriously ill animals, and it's a 2-step process (a sedative first and then the blue juice) and it's extremely humane. As for the vets and shelters that get paid by the local counties as the animal control drop-offs, I can't speak to those, but I have heard a lot of really bad things about those places anyway and a gas chamber death is the least of those animal's problems. (And unforunately they almost always have long good-ole-boy connections to the county politicians, so good luck challenging their methods.) What you can really do to help is to donate old towels, old blankets, even old clothing that could be used as blankets and rags, dog food, cat food, laundry detergent, pet toys, etc., to your local humane society. They absolutely LOVE such donations -- especially towels and food -- and they will take ANYTHING. (Even money.) If you support them on an ongoing basis, there won't be any need to euthanize unwanted animals. That's what I do. And it's really all you can do that will make a positive difference.

In Georgia you have a very well reputed art college there. Southern College of Art Design, or SCAD.
2 :
I say go for graphic Interior design
3 :
When you say north, do you mean New England? If so, then I would go with graphic design. New England is full of artsy stores and businesses, interior design firms and furniture design places. You would have no problem finding the job of your dreams. If you mean north anywhere else, then go with art education.. but you should ask yourself, would you rather be creating art or teaching others how to create art? peace.
4 :
I grew up in Georgia. Now I live in Philly. Of the two, I'd definitely say go for graphic design but unfortunately the job market is getting flooded by people with these degrees. If you want to impress, get a degree from a recognized art school like SCAD.
