Check with Human Resources. Not all companies offer paid maternity leave.

Only if your company offers it. Most don't. FMLA will probably assure you UNPAID leave.

With one year of employment, you should be eligible for whatever your company offers in benefits. FMLA is unpaid leave.

There is no such thing as paid maternity leave in the US. You may qualify for FMLA but in almost all states that is unpaid. The only paid leave you might qualify for is if your company has a short term disability plan.
