I'm looking for a family friendly town with things to do, even if those things are 20 to 30 mins away. Where there might be a house with a swimming pool..lol And where the rent is not too bad?

ummm BANKS COUNTY great school great people... there are a lot of restruants like 15 minutes away.. there are 3 towns or so in it Lula, Homer, and Maysville. and there is this new amusment park called Funopolis right next to wal mart. and atlanta is an hour away :D

buckhead, a community in atlanta, it is beautiful. only 5 minutes away from the city, lots of restaurants and attractions (i.e. six flags, espn zone, the world of coca cola, the cnn center, the zoo). they also have the biggest aquarium in america

Why don't you try south of town like LaGrange or Pine Mountain-you can get to Hartsfield in less than an hour-new interstate lanes opening soon-lower cost of living

If you are looking for a safe family friendly town with things to I would suggest not moving to GA especailly south GA.

Kennesaw, Acworth, Marietta....anywhere in Cobb County. Do NOT live in the middle of Atlanta!!!! Truuuust me on this, if you are concerned about your safety.
