Where is the safest place to live in Georgia

Where is the safest place to live in Georgia?
Not really into Savannah or Atlanta. I want to move out of the good for nothing town I live in and can't decide where to go. I want to be somewhere that is safe to raise my children and at the same time isn't the smallest city in the US. Got any suggestions???

It really depends on your preferences regarding employment opportunities, education quality, distance to major shopping, medical facilities, taxes, religious life, etc. (basically all the stuff that makes up quality of life). Peachtree City is pretty safe according to http://www.city-data.com/top26.html. Also look at cityrating.com. Good luck. Hope this helps you make your move out of the sticks.

Madison ga. should fit the bill nicely. It is known for very good schools for one and a very nice town with good shopping also very close to airport and Atlanta population is perhaps ten k or so. A good mix of income levels not overly high or low and a heavy middle class. Even grant liked the town and refused to burn it down. lencad
