Go to the department or bureau of motor vehicles webpage. That will tell you.

15 for permit, 16 for license. but you have to have a paper proving enrollment in school or a GED. if you get your license and then quit school, they suspend your license.

You can get your permit at 15 and you can get a "Class D" license at 16, it allows you to drive alone but has some restrictions that regular adult licenses do not have.
