Go to real estate classes and get your real estate license. Then pick a broker and you are on your way.

Talk to some local brokers. Tell them that you are curious about a career in real estate, and let them explain how things work in your marketplace. You will need to have a broker sponsor you to ultimately take your real estate licensing exam, so find out whom you like and pursue them to sponsor you.
