I live in Georgia, too. I was harassed by a cop last night. Here is my question that I asked earlier: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah7F4ls4sqy8BqJ5cSqw1Pbsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20101102035342AAjgfvj I would encourage you to call an attorney and get some free legal advice. Perhaps you can convince a judge that you need your license. Dress professionally (suit and tie), and go to court, and treat the judge with respect, and you may be able to get your license back. Take care, and God bless.

You should be able to get a hardship license. I have never heard of getting a drivers license suspended for six months for not wearing your glasses. It is usually a ticket. There must be more to this story than what you are saying. I have heard of dwi's being less.

Your license had a restriction requiring you to wear glasses when you drove, you knew (or should have known) this. Why were you not wearing glasses? You might look into a hardship license, although I doubt one would allow you to drive commercial vehicles for work. If that does not work, talk to your boss and try to get temporarily assigned to a job that does not require a license. Here is another suggestion ... since your license restrictions require corrective lenses ... wear your glasses when you drive!
